Gwent Bach Choir is a mixed choir of about 70 members based in Abergavenny, and draws singers and audiences from Monmouthshire, Powys and South Herefordshire.

The choir was originally set up to perform the works of J.S. Bach and has expanded its repertoire to include major classical choral works as well as some lesser known and contemporary pieces.

We perform two major works each year, in November and April, plus a less formal miscellany of shorter works in the summer and carols at Christmas. In recent years our informal carol singing in the streets of Abergavenny has raised funds for the local food bank.

Choir members can find details of forthcoming rehearsals and other essential information on our members’ page.
